Adventure Guide: South Ballina

Loyal Motorama 4X4XMORE club member Hayley Wilson joins the team on a weekend trip to South Ballina and experiences the excitement of driving the beach.

* 2021 UPDATE *

Access to South Ballina beach is now restricted to for four-wheel drivers. You can only access a 4.6 km stretch of Air Force Beach below the high tide mark north to the coffee rocks. Alternatively you can access Seven Mile Beach at Lennox Head (north of Lake Ainsworth Sport and Recreation Facility to the boundary with Byron Shire) via Camp Drewe Road, but for this part you do need a permit.
