Motorama Kia Moorooka launch
The journey to the new Motorama Kia dealership started nine years ago, when the first dealership opened. Ever since its inception, Motorama and Kia were a powerful combination. In 2010, Motorama Kia was awarded Dealer of the Year and became a Platinum Dealer the same year. Then in 2011, our partnership expanded when the Motorama Kia Browns Plains dealership opened.
MILESTONE
The original dealer principal, Tom Kennedy, is proud that Motorama Kia has been a consistent sales performer since the start: “We became the first Kia dealer in Australia to sell over 1000 cars in a year. And that’s something we’ll always be proud of.”
IMPROVING
Always looking to improve the customer experience was largely behind the decision to build a new Kia dealership in Moorooka. Now dealer principal Simon Guthrie is equally proud of the experience they’ve offered Kia customers from day one, but was enthused by the idea of building a new dealership that would bring all aspects of this experience together.
“We aim to create Motorama Kia customers for life and with a dealership that lets the customer choose and maintain their vehicle in a state-of-the-art facility like our new dealership, everybody wins.”
SERVICE
Perhaps it is the service customers that benefit most from the new dealership, with a concierge service and state-of-the-art service facilities.
Motorama managing director Mark Woelders said the following on the opening night:
“Kia is an innovative brand that is changing our industry. They were the first to bring out a 7-year, unlimited kilometre warranty and they’re winning global recognition for quality and performance. Just like Motorama, their focus is moving to the next level and so we’re looking forward to doing this together in the years ahead.”
