The 2023 Nissan Pathfinder is packed with versatility and convenience - so much so that we had to put together a quick list of our favourite things about this revamped SUV built for the family adventure.
The 2023 Nissan Pathfinder is exceptionally spacious with ample room for both passengers and cargo. With an easily accessible third row, it's no wonder the Pathfinder is a family favourite.
On top of this, mum and dad will love the premium experience of the supportive and comfortable leather-upholstered seats, that even feature a little extra luxury in the form of heated front seats (Bonus: they're available across all models!).
Despite its rugged appearance, the new Pathfinder strikes a keen balance between off-road capability and on-road comfort. In general, it leans toward on-road comfort however, the intelligent 4x4 system provides it with the ability to adapt to changes in terrain quite efficiently.
You've got seven different driving modes to work with, so you'll have no trouble matching your driving mode to your environment and providing optimal traction with minimal wheel slippage to maintain peak performance.
The 2023 Pathfinder prioritizes safety with a 5-star ANCAP Safety rating and advanced safety features such as Nissan's Intelligent Mobility suite. This includes features like intelligent emergency braking, rear automatic braking, blind spot intervention, and lane intervention which all help contribute to a secure driving experience.
On top of this, the ProPILOT system assists with highway driving, incorporating adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist making things much easier for the driver.
The Pathfinder excels in practicality, offering versatile space and storage solutions through adaptable seating layouts providing various options for improved cargo storage and features like the EZ Flex system that allows the rear doors to open wider for easier access.
The Pathfinder is packed with conveniences such as 16 cupholders, multiple USB-C and A charging ports, air vents in all three rows, and an ingenious one-touch button that folds and moves the second-row seats for third-row access. To top it all off, the electric tailgate and remote start option offer a little extra spice.
The Pathfinder's naturally-aspirated 3.5-litre V6 engine and new nine-speed automatic transmission with shift-by-wire technology delivers a smooth and responsive driving experience on the back of 202kW of power and 340Nm of torque.
Nissan has also improved the Pathfinder's driving dynamics with upgrades to the suspension and steering. The electric power-assisted steering (EPAS) provides sharper, more responsive turn-in, enhancing the SUV's handling and structural enhancements, including lightweight aluminium doors and increased high-strength steel, contribute to a quieter cabin and improved stability on different terrains.
We can't leave this list without mentioned the new Pathfinder's restyled, boxier design that offers a modern and brawny appearance on the road. It's a new significant improvement over the previous generation and exudes a sense of stability and confidence in its safety.
